What is Silestone®?
|
|
Silestone® is a combination of
crushed quartz (95 per cent) and a polymer resin (5
per cent). It is produced under the same unrelenting
heat and pressure which form volcanic rock and diamonds.
The result ... a stone which is extremely tough, dense,
and pure, produced in Spain by Cosentino, Silestone® .
|
Why choose Silestone®?
|
Silestone® is the ideal choice for any household or
commercial surface. The unique combination of MICROBAN
PROTECTION, NSF and GREENGUARD CERTIFICATION makes Silestone®
a cleaner, safer countertop choice. Silestone® has superior
color range over 40 Colors - from the brilliant white
of Blanco Zeus to the cosmopolitan style of Azul Electra.
Colors and patterns are consistent throughout each slab.
The natural quartz in Silestone® makes it the toughest
interior surface, it resist scratching, staining and
scorching better than any other natural stone or solid
surface.
|
Care & Maintenance |
For Silestone® Quartz with a polished finish, we do
recommend you use a mild household cleaner, such as
409®, Fantastik®, Lysol®, or Windex®. Don't worry about
spills from coffee, wine, lemon juice olive oil, vinegar,
makeup and many other household products, it won't scorch.
But, use trivets when placing any hot items to avoid
thermal shock. Overall for the daily cleaning routine
just wipe your countertop with mild dish soap and water.
